MARCH FORTH FAMILY HEALTHY SMOOTHIES

FAVORITE MARCH FORTH FAMILY SMOOTHIE

1 cup almond milk (or coconut milk, coconut water, or yogurt)
1 banana
1 apple
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1 carrot
1 kale leaf
1 handful of baby spinach
2 cups ice cubes

Blend until liquefied in blender

CITRUS/YOGURT/SPINACH SMOOTHIE

1 banana
12 strawberries (fresh or frozen)
2 oranges (peeled)
4 cups spinach
2/3 cup plain Greek Yogurt
6-15 ice cubes

Blend until liquefied in blender

FRUIT-VEGGIE SMOOTHIE

1 kale leaf and handful of spinach
2 carrots
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
1 cup blueberries
1 apple
1 banana
15 ice cubes

Blend until liquefied in blender

POWER SMOOTHIE

2 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1 banana
1/2 cup peaches (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup strawberries
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1/4 kale leaf
1/2 scoop protein powder
10 raspberries (fresh or frozen)
6 ice cubes

Blend until liquefied in blender

Note: We like to use fresh organic fruit as much as possible. Frozen works, too. Instead of the yogurt, we often usually use coconut milk or almond milk; both are great alternatives to dairy. Coconut water is also good for you and works well in a smoothie. Consider also adding chia seeds.

For a blender, we love our Vitamix, but others will work, too!
