"We definitely recommend the private coaching (we have already told a few families!).  The one-on-one help is so beneficial and the fact that it is tailored specifically to our child/children provides a service you can't find when reading a book, watching a video, etc.  The other component that is just as valuable is the encouragement.  Both of you are so encouraging and have the understanding that can only come from walking through this before us.  Hearing about your children and how they have progressed is also a blessing.  It is also a great feeling that we are not doing this alone."   Mike and Denise Miller

“What an encouragement you have been to us on our parenting journey. We feel like we have so much great information and tools to use to help our children as they grow and as we train and teach them. We have seen some truly awesome improvements and are looking forward to more as we continue to work with our children. You are a true inspiration in the way you have raised and loved your own children and persevere in very difficult circumstances. Thank you for your example.”   Cate Dwyer

"One thing that I am thankful for is that knowledge is power. Before I started the Platinum program, I knew that something was wrong with my child but I didn't know what it was. Some days she seemed so normal, others days I said to my husband, "We have got to get some help for this child!" But I had no idea who to turn to and was terrified of a "diagnosis" that was "untreatable." After just a short time, I feel so much better about my daughter and about our whole situation. OK, so she has mixed dominance; tactility and proprioceptive processing issues, gross motor challenges, and a lot of retained infantile reflexes. Sometimes I need to remind myself that she is also academically advanced and is a talented flutist. We are making progress, and I do see positive changes. Thanks to this program, I wake up feeling empowered instead of afraid."   Karen Hare

A letter from a former client to her friend: “I am sorry to hear that your son is struggling, but I feel confident that a conversation with the folks at March Forth Family would benefit you both. There are not enough superlatives I can say about Julie and what she can do for a child. My son would not be the student he is today were it not for Julie's encouraging intervention.

"Since I have known her, she has gone on to obtain a nutrition certification because she believes so passionately that nutrition is a vital missing component for children who struggle. The website is http://www.marchforthfamily.com/ I would encourage you to have a conversation with them. Whether you choose to proceed with them is up to you, but they are AWESOME. They are also the ones who uncovered that we had chosen the wrong hand for my younger son last year, and suggested that we switch him from being right-handed (he wouldn't choose as a kindergartener) to left-handed. It has not been perfect, but many (and I mean MANY) of the behaviors that caused us to seek them out were ameliorated or just disappeared after we affected that change.

"Probably the best part of meeting with Tom and Julie is the fact that they have walked some very tough roads with their own children and therefore have a depth of insight into how difficult it can be when you want the best for your children."   Gretchen Roe

"I have enjoyed getting to know you and working with you. You are so motivational and uplifting to be around and Vivian has come so far thanks to your hard work. I will continue to recommend people to you because I believe you work wonders with kids. Thank you so very much for everything you have done for Vivian and myself and I will look forward to working with you in the future."   Debbie Zook

Encouragement for those already in the program: "I just wanted to encourage all of you to just do your best. I've gone through the program for my son. He sometimes tried to dodge the training and had the occasional pouting fest; however he made great strides. Some things took longer to see a difference but he was always heading in the right direction. One other little piece of advice is, if YOU stress out about it so will they. We eventually made a game of it and some days we did it on the fly or not at all. It is cumulative and every day is a new day. Julie is the greatest coach and encourager that the minute you unload you stresses and failures she is there to pick you up and help you see the positive side of things. I can't tell you how much of a blessing she has been. With Julie’s help, Ryan and I both have grown and moved forward in our lives and we have made a wonderful new friend. Please be patient with your child and yourself. Moving into a new routine is often difficult especially with a child who has already developed their own way of coping. You know how changes are scary. I am fortunate that Ryan wasn't a meltdown sort of child but I know Julie has lots of sage advice for each different situation. So don't give up, if something doesn't seem to be working, talk it out and Julie is certain to have another suggestion or another approach! Remember that the progress and changes that are the end result will prepare your child for a brighter future. As a mom it gives me peace to know that my son will have an easier time working, coping, associating, and communicating. Never give up, never give up; your child is worth it all."   Marie Grubbs

Before: "My son used to be very angry, seemingly all the time.  No amount of trying to talk him out of his anger would work.  He was rude and disrespectful to adults and verbally nasty to his younger brother.  He was disobedient and had difficulty falling asleep at night.  He refused to do anything that he thought would embarrass him to the point where he drew even more attention to himself by his adamant refusals.  He was difficult to deal with probably 90% of the time.  Even when he was in “a good mood” he would get over-excited and jump around and be overzealous in his responses and reactions which would elicit criticism and “calm down” commentary.  That would just make him feel bad about himself which he turned back into anger...vicious cycle!"

Transition:  "We became aware of sensory issues in our child. That was a huge piece of the puzzle for our child. So being educated about the issues, being given activities and exercises to make a difference in the brain, and getting support while incorporating the activities were some of the best results in working with you. The "what to do about it" piece is huge. There are doable solutions to the problem that you can do at home and they don't involve drugs or labels."

Results:  "Nine months after we started [the program] my son is MUCH more calm, very loving including to his brother, and seems to have much more control over his emotions.  He is more reasonable and obedient. In general he is a joy to be around most of the time instead of once in a great while.  We enjoy family time together and experience more peaceful evenings."

"Other things I love about working with you is the "Family" emphasis. I love your own story --  how your personal experiences bring your expertise and those authentic testimonials on the website."   Colleen B.

"Kuodos to brother Tom Meekins and my sweet sister Julie Meekins of March Forth Family for an awesome educational and inspiring free workshop last night entitled Why Weight. My son and I walked away making plans for some much needed changes in our life in both primary and secondary foods. I highly recommend your workshop to others. The most inspiring element was watching the interaction between Tom and Julie. You seem to be of one soul. Your passion for what your organization has to offer is breathtaking. We can't wait to begin introducing Tom's delicious and nutritious smoothee into our daily diet."   Myra Kassim
